Client Treatment and Assistance

AVAILABLE SERVICES

Defendants placed under pretrial supervision who have identified needs are eliglble for referrals to federally contracted services.  Our Agency contracts for the following:

  • Temporary Housing 
  • Outpatient Subustance Use Disorder Treatment (individual and group)
  • Residential Subustance Use Disorder Treatment (generally 90 days)
  • Outpatient Mental Health Treatment (individual)
  • Specialized Counseling (individual and group for defendants charged with sex offenses)
  • "Courage to Change" (cognitive behavioral treatment journaling program)

Our Agency also has Masters in Social Work students on staff who can assist with referrals to community based organizations and provide direction on how to apply for aid programs such as Medicare/Medi-Cal. 

In certain circumstances, our Agency can provide emergency or transitional services to defendants who have no other means of assistance but require these services to meet basic human needs.  These services include:

  • First month's rent assistance
  • Vocational Training Courses and/or Materials
  • Emergency hotel placement (not to exceed 30 days)
  • Transit cards
